Norman Osborn does the unthinkable//AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #799 - SPOILERS
After torturing Spider-Man in issue #788, Norman Osborn finally reveals his end game.
As Peter Parker brings together a spider-crew to take down Osborn, Norman kidnaps his grandsons (who were in turn taken from their parents Harry Osborn and Liz Allen by Harry’s long thought dead mother/Norman’s ex-wife Emily Lyman Osborn). With Peter out of commission thanks to an injury, Miles Morales, Silk, Human Torch, and Clash (whose respective flame and sound powers do nothing to the Goblin/Symbiote hybrid) retaliate, but Osborn wrecks them all.
Luckily Anti-Venom arrives in time to save everyone's butts, but Osborn smashes him too. Osborn escapes with Normie just as Peter arrives. Anti-Venom uses the last of his healing powers to fix Spidey's leg, and he chases him...
...But it's too late. Norman has already done the unthinkable - he uses the Carnage symbiote to turn Normie Osborn into a younger Red Goblin.
In the alternate timeline title Spider-Girl, Normie grows up to become both the Green Goblin and Venom – though as Venom, he became a hero.
