Funko Toys Mega Man Action Figure Display // NYTF2019
The toy company Funko made a name for themselves with unique vinyl collectibles based on popular brands, yet have ventured out into the world of traditional articulated toys on more than one occasion. The latest example of Funko’s experimenting with the action figure format is their new line based on the classic Mega Man video game series.
The first thing to notice about Funko's Mega Man toys is their undeniably charming style, perfectly replicating the simplified look of the characters from the games.
The first wave of the series includes five figures, though technically only two individual characters. In addition to featuring Mega Man's arch-nemesis Dr. Wily, the toyline offers four color variants of the super fighting robot including his default blue form, green and white Leaf Shield form, grey and yellow Thunder Shield, and a red and yellow Atomic Fire chase variant (not pictured).
