Black Panther exceeds all expectations bringing in huge 3 day weekend numbers

The numbers are in for the weekend and Black Panther exceeded all expectations bringing in $201.8 million dollars for the weekend. That’s the fifth highest opening of all time and the second highest for a Marvel film right after The Avengers. It also steals the title of biggest Presidents weekend and February weekend that was previously held by Deadpool.

Black Panther is now projecting a four day total of 235 million making it the third highest four day total of all time above The Avengers ($226 million) and Jurassic World ($234 million) but still behind The Last Jedi ($241.6 million) and The Force Awakens ($288 million)
