The Starman Companion Table of Contents
Welcome to You Don’t Read Comics’ look back at the 1994 epic from DC Comics, Starman. Written by James Robinson with art by several industry greats, the comic broke new ground while making sure almost every major DC property was remembered or tributed.
Lasting from October of 1994 through August 2001, with a brief revival for March of 2010, Starman lasted 80 issues during its prime run. The central character, Jack Knight, would be the seventh person to carry the name of Starman, the son of the original, and James Robinson would tie together a legacy that would stretch into the infinite future of DC comics.
We will also be covering any side-content we can uncover at the relevant times, such as tie-in issues, or Jack’s few appearances in the Justice Society of America revival in 1999.
Table of Contents:
Chapter 1: Prelude to Legacy, in which we cover the time prior to 1994 for anyone named Starman.
Chapter 2: Sins of the Father, in which we begin with issues 0 through 3 and the same titled opening story.
Chapter 3: The Weird Finds You, in which we examine issues 4 through 6, and Jack starts to realize his life is getting a whole lot weirder.
