Hasbro Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Display // NYTF2019
Say you are life-long Power Rangers enthusiast as well as parent to a young child. How can you share your passion with your child while also giving them an enjoyable age-appropriate toy experience? Hasbro has such a conundrum covered with their new Power Rangers Playskool assortment.
Playskool was a toy company that became a subsidiary of Hasbro after merging with them in 1984. Since being acquired by Hasbro, Playskool has been Hasbro's go-to department for toys and products for young developing children. Playskool's product ranges from beloved child specific toys like Mr. Potato Head, to making intuitive and enjoyable toys based on Hasbro's licensed and in-house intellectual property. Star Wars, Marvel Heroes, and Transformers have all worn the Playskool branding at one point or another with Power Rangers proudly carrying on that legacy.
The first thing to note about the Playskool Power Rangers is that it is a MASSIVE array of toys. The mini-figures will be available via blind bags and cover characters from multiple seasons of the show including Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Wild Force, Dino Thunder, and Dino Charge. Additionally, Rangers will also come with various higher priced assortments including vehicle packs, non-transforming Zord, and larger transforming Zord. The Zords look awesome featuring such iconic mechs as the MMPR Thunder Red Dragon Zord, Dino Charge Gold Ptera Zord, and a Wild Force Rhino Zord that also incorporates details from Jungle Fury's Rhino Steel Zord.
Without a doubt, the most astounding piece in the Playskool line up is the Wild Force Morphin Megazord Playset! A MASSIVE Zord based on the Wild Force Megazord that converts from robot mode to play set mode with a single step. The Playset is an impressive piece of engineering that looks filled with playability with the other figures, especially the exclusive Wild Force Red Ranger that comes packaged with the playset.
Some of the prices are still TBA, but the Thunder Red Dragon Zord will retail for $29.99, and the Wild Force Megazord playset will retail for a whopping $59.99.
