Hasbro Power Rangers Beast Morphers Display // NYTF2019

Power Rangers Beast Morphers is the 26th season of the long-running Power Rangers TV series and the first one to be produced under the guidance of new intellectual property holder Hasbro. Based on the 2012 Japanese series Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, Power Rangers Beast Morphers takes place in an alternate future where scientists can now harness the energies of the Power Rangers' power source the Morphin Grid. When an evil virus named Evox tries to take control of the Grid, the Beast Morphers Power Rangers need to use Grid energy and advanced technology to defend the world.

A new season of Power Rangers means new toys and Hasbro pulled out all of the stops at New York Toy Fair 2019 to show what merchandise Beast Morphers will unload throughout the year. First up is the line of 6" Basic figures which will retail for $9.99, come with two accessories per figure, and include the Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, and Silver Beast Morpher Rangers as well as the Yellow rabbit Beast Bot Jax. Also in the Basic assortment are the evil villains who battle the Beast Morpher Rangers including Evox, his generals Blaze and Roxy, robotic henchman called Tronics, and one of his robot minions. There's also an additional 6" assortment of Deluxe figures available at the slightly higher price point of $14.99 which will consist of Red Beast Bot Cruise and Blue Beast Bot Smash.

What the Basic and Deluxe figures both have in common aside from their size is that both come with Morph-X keys that are compatible with the Beast X-Morpher. The Beast X-Morpher an electronic role-play toy that is voice-activated by the phrase "it's Morphin time," and has unique lights and sounds that are activated depending on which Morph-X key is used. Other roleplay toys include masks of the Red and Blue Beast Morpher Rangers and replicas of the Rangers' impressive arsenal such as the Cheetah Claw, Cheetah Beast Blaster, and Beast-X Electronic Sword.

Of course, no Power Rangers toyline would be complete without the Rangers' mighty fighting machines the Zords! Unlike previous seasons, the Beast Morpher Zords are sold separately in two price assortments $25 dual changing Zords that include the Yellow, Blue, and Silver Zords and a $30 price point for the Red and Gold Zords which can convert to three modes. The Red, Yellow, and Blue Zords can come together to form the Beast X Megazord or combine together with the Gold and Silver Zords to form the Beast X Ultrazord.
