NECA Toony Terrors Display // NYTF2019

The toy company NECA has become renowned for its various figures based on the horror genre, bringing some of the most iconic ghouls from the big screen to life with fantastic detail and articulation. Unfortunately, those types of high-end collectibles don't always hit every collector budget or style preference leading NECA to develop a whole new brand of horror figure.

The Toony Terrors line of action figures brings together a kooky quartet of NECA's most fearsome horror icons. This 6-inch scale assortment blends the iconic designs of slashers like Jason Voorhees with the Saturday Morning cartoon aesthetics of Scooby-Doo and the Looney Tunes. Articulation and detail are not priorities with these figures exchanging multiple joints for smooth designs and copious accessories for cheap price points.

In addition to the killer of Camp Crystal Lake, series one also features Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Kruger, Pennywise the dancing clown from the 1990 adaption of Stephen King's It, as well as the recent portrayal of Pennywise performed by Bill Skarsgard. The first four figures will retail for $13.99 individually or sold together as a set for $51.99. Pre-orders for the toys are available right now from Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth and are slated for an October release later this year.
