The price of Marvel Comics' War of Realms #1 has been raised from the solicited $4.99 to $5.99. Announced in a newsletter to Direct Market retailers, the publisher did not give a reason for the change - or if the other issues of the series would continue this price.

In a press release, Marvel has said War of Realms will have "far-reaching consequences" at a level not seen since 2015's Secret Wars. The twice-monthly event is scheduled to run from April to June.

War of Realms #1 is scheduled to be released April 3.
