Xmen Gold #7 review

Xmen Gold #7 by Marc Guggenheim and Ken Lashley

This issue seems to be a Secret Empire tie in that distances itself from Secret Empire as much as possible, and works for the most part. The main jist of this issue is that the Mutant Serial Killer we've been teased with is in the X-Mansion.We also get some good character moments between Kitty and Petyr(who cant turn to steel at the moment because of the nano-sentinel) and another small moment/kiss between Kurt and Rachel.

Manhattan is being attacked by the DarkForce Dimension (thanks to info from Doctor Strange) so Wolverine,Storm and Nightcrawler take to the streets to help civilians which is convenient with a serial killer running around the mansion. The issue ends with Colossus conveniently getting his powers back as he gets shit in the head.

This issue is a fairly scattered issue, alot happens but then again alot doesn't happen at the same time. There's alot of wheels moving but don't seem to be taking us anywhere. It's not a bad issue by no mean, but not really a very good one either. so for that this issue gets a C+
